Each month at Saint Wine Bar, we pay homage to the heroes behind the vino. These winemakers might not wear halos, but their craft certainly brings a touch of divine to your glass. And who better to kick off our Sainted Winemaker series than Ollie Powrie, the mastermind behind Chateau Garage and the all-new Albariño Brothers.
Ollie is a small-batch winemaker from Hawke’s Bay and yes, you guessed right—Ollie crafts his wines in his garage, proving that great wine doesn’t need a grand château to make an impact.
You’re invited to meet the man, the myth, the legend himself at Saint Wine Bar on Friday, 13 September from 5pm. Come sip on some of Ollie’s finest creations and discover what makes him wine so unique, or if you can't make it, enjoy a flight of his wines throughout September.
